This is where we're at.

Let's be honest, the Chopp has officially been put on the back burner for now.
I'm disappointed but I know it will get done eventually. I just hope it's not too far into the future.
As soon as something substantial happens I'll start posting again, but don't hold your breath...


UPDATE: (19 July 2011) the single-carb cylinder head has been disassembled (valves, rockers, spindles, etc.) and it's off to the machine shop to get blasted clean (always amazing how new stuff looks when it's back from blasting). It will get new valve guides, oil seals, valve seats for unleaded fuel and all surfaces trued.

my Norton

I've mentioned my Norton a couple of times already and I probably shouldn't post this here, as this blog is meant to be dedicated exclusively to what has - alas - become the frustratingly prolonged gestation of the BSA hardtail project.
Partly because I want to post something new, partly because my Norton is now at a point where I'm *very* happy with it, I've decided to share this.
